Privacy
This is a short, plain-language notice for the Allometra website and platform. It is a draft and is being reviewed. Questions are welcome at support@allometra.tech.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password that you choose. We do not ask for anything else at sign-up. Passwords are handled by our authentication service and are not stored in readable form.
If you use the platform, the project information you enter (for example land parcels, boundaries and documents) is stored under your organisation’s account. Some of it can be personal data about other people, such as landowner names or plot locations. Please enter only what you have the right to enter.
Why we collect it
To give you access to your account. Accounts are reviewed and enabled by Allometra before they can be used, so creating an account does not by itself give access to the platform.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
- We do not load third-party fonts, scripts or trackers on the public pages.
Cookies and local storage
We use only essential cookies that keep you signed in. Your display-theme choice, if you make one, is kept in your browser’s local storage on your device.
Tools and uploaded sheets
The Tools section lets you upload a plantation sheet (a CSV file) to produce a KML map or an NDVI analysis. The sheet is sent securely to a third-party automation service that works on Allometra’s behalf. That service keeps a record of each run, and the results are saved to cloud storage. Allometra does not store the sheet in its own database. Do not upload data you are not entitled to share, and only upload sheets where the farmers and landowners have agreed to their details and plot locations being processed.
Who can see your data
Each client organisation’s data is kept separate from other clients’. Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf to run the service. Our hosting may keep standard server logs (such as request time and IP address) for security and troubleshooting.
Your requests
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing support@allometra.tech. Some records in the platform are kept as an append-only audit trail by design; if a request touches such a record, we will explain what can and cannot be changed.
Law
We aim to handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and with the data-protection law that applies to you where relevant.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
